Customer Service Incident Management
Service Cloud users will love the new innovations to help predict, route and solve customer cases.
Incident management helps your escalation teams track large-scale disruptions and delegate tasks to the right agent for the job to ensure your company delivers on customer expectations. They can log a problem to find the root cause of a service interruption or other major productivity blocker. And the change manager gives escalation specialists a way to take the steps necessary to ensure the problem is never an issue for your org again.

Lightning Page Performance
The Analyze button on Lightning Pages lets you see the predicted load time of pages, and provides recommendations on how to improve it. You can now network latency, browser speed, and number of cores – giving you greater visibility into actual load speeds. This tool will be a great help to analyze and optimize the loading of lightning pages.
Dynamic Gauge Charts in Dashboards
Dynamic Gauge Charts now allow you to adjust the graduations in the chart using values from Salesforce records and not static values, allowing KPI’s to respond dynamically to your business. No more having to manually set these static values!
In the screenshot below, you can see a gauge chart filtered to only show the revenue of the temple subsidiary, relative to the target of the whole business.
Dynamic Interactions
Announced a few months back, Dynamic Interactions are included in the Winter ’22 release. They allow developers to create Lightning Components that dynamically react to user activity on another component. For example, you can see from the screenshot below that when a user clicks on an account, the Dynamic Interactions component will show the exact location on a map.
Flow Orchestrator
Flow Orchestrator is a new product designed to help Admins create sophisticated multi-user, multi-step automated business processes, with clicks, not code. You can link different flows, and approval processes together, defining whether steps need to be completed sequentially, or together.
New Home Page for Salesforce Mobile Users
The new Mobile Home feature is now available for both Android and iOS users. This provides Salesforce Mobile users with a new home page with the ability to customize the “cards” that are displayed.
When Winter ‘22 release is coming to my Salesforce ORG?
You can find out when Winter ‘22 is coming to your Salesforce environment as follows:
- Navigate to: https://status.salesforce.com/
- Enter your “myDomain” prefix in the search box.
- Select the Result displayed
- Click the Maintenance Tab
- Look for the entry “Winter ’22 Major Release” to find your release date.
For example, a user at Walmart is excited to hear about Winter ‘22 and heads over to status.salesforce.com
They know that when they log in to Salesforce, they use walmart.my.salesforce.com so “Walmart” is the myDomain prefix they need.
They enter walmart and click the search icon:
One result is shown and they can see that Walmart is hosted on the NA163 instance.
They click this link and are taken to a page that shows the current status of the Walmart Salesforce instance. When this was checked on 18 Sept, 2021, they can see that this instance has not been upgraded yet, it is still running Summer ’21.
Clicking the maintenance tab shows them what is coming up soon:
Now they know exactly when to expect the upgrade to Winter ’22. They can also see the planned dates for the next two releases as well.
